LTO Experience 2: Daniel's Quest for a Driver's License

Finally, after 2 months and a half since I failed my first written exam in LTO to apply for a driver's license, I made it!

I managed to surpassed 2 changes of Medical Certificate Forms from the Doctors, the long wait for the Tax Identification Number, and the Nerve Wrecking-Boring wait in the long queue of applicants. Not to forget the loud speakers calling the names of the applicants to go to a particular window... And take note, you can even here the window teller coughing... As in ga ubo ubo jd... naa pa jd plema... haha. The other one was heard singing Britney's womanizer.. So much for them, there is also this security guard, who' s supposed to watch over the applicant's safety, who became a "number giver and number caller". He happens to be assigned to give you your priority number and will call the number if it's your turn...
Lingaw noh..?

MARCH 4, 2009 4:10pm I finally had on my hand, the most precious ID I have... My driver's license...

But it's not that easy as it sounded to be...

I had to pass through the eye of the needle.
Fortunately I am 'rich' so I refuted Jesus' saying that it is easier for a camel to enter the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God...

Unsa'y connection..?

Ang pagkuha sa license sa LTO sayun lng kaau kng rich ka... Rich in connections and or rich in money.
If you are rich in money then you can pay for your license. As for me, I am rich in connections so I did not pay anything, only the exact amount to be paid in getting a driver's license.
That's why I made it. Without those guys 'inside', it would take me 2 days to get a driver's license.
So naa na jd ko'y driver's license...

N.B.
When transacting with the government offices in the Phiippines you need to be familiar with these 3 phrases...
UNDER THE TABLE
OVER THE TABLE
INCLUDING THE TABLE...
